I have my own collection of beauties and sometimes I wear them as an elegant scarf or wrap. Good all year round-cool in summer, warm in winter as they are made from 2 layers of silk. So they are reversible!

I also use them to decorate-as table runners and couch or chair throw. Also wonderful hung as textile tapestry art.

"Kantha" refers to the age old Indian textile art of top stitching 2 layers of fabric together. Today it is often done by machine but traditionally it refers to hand sewn works. There are many different types of kantha stitchery out there-often cotton But I will let the artistry of this collection speak for itself.
