Magnificent vintage original "pichwai"painting of an elephant 33 by 32 inches. It is hand painted in gouache & mixed media on silk. You can have it framed or hang it as a wall tapestry.

Dark grey and ivory color combination with burnt orange and bronze accents.

This hand painted work dates from 1980's and is in beautiful condition as seen in the photos. Often pichwais are "stretched" on a "false frame" to prepare for the addition of a traditional frame.

I recommend that you consult an experienced, professional framer to avoid damage to the painting.

The other option is to hang on a rod as a wall tapestry.
