Vintage wood temple toy "Nandi" the sacred Brahma bull of India. 9.5 inches high by 6.5 inches long approximately. Nandi is revered as the mount of Lord Shiva, who it is said dances the universe in and out in cycles of existence and non existence.

This exquisite Nandi has a rich , weathered green patina. He was discovered and collected during one of our annual road trips through villages and towns in rural India some 30 to 35 years ago!
